Obsolete Paper Money Volume 8

The eighth volume of Q. David Bowers's multiple-book Whitman Encyclopedia of Obsolete Paper Money studies in great detail the bank notes of Delaware, District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia. Bowers gives historical narrative for every town, city, and bank involved in producing notes in these states from 1792 to 1866; note-by-note values in multiple grades, current rarity levels, significant auction results, and other market data based on ongoing research; full-color images, and more. Volume 8 is the third on the South Atlantic states. Earlier volumes studied New England in similar detail, and subsequent volumes will cover the Mid-Atlantic and Southwest states.
