I buy a 250 pack of Guardhouse EvoCore Small Dollar coin capsules about every 2-3 years to save some money by buying bulk (I don’t have need for that many capsules in a year—so I consider a 250 quantity as bulk) and defer price inflation (there will be increased price for the capsules the next time purchased).



The capsules do the job—of protecting coins from direct handling and give an attractive display of the dollars.



The AirTite direct fit coin capsules are better quality (than EvoCore) but I buy the EvoCore -as they are about $65 less than the 250 count AirTite.



One can see the quality difference between the two by examining their outside rims/edges. If I had valuable, collectible or premium coins I would spend the extra money on AirTite capsules. My needs are for run-of-miill dollars I wish to protect/show. So I go for the cheaper less quality.
