The descriptions for these storage boxes indicate that they are for "slabbed" coins. However, they are also the correct size (albeit just a bit taller than necessary) for 2 1/2"x2 1/2" cardboard or plastic flips. I use them for storing my excess casino chips that are housed in cardboard and plastic flips.
