Made from polyester film, this product is 100% PET, biaxally oriented, uncoated, colorless and free of any additives, absorbants or UV inhibitors. Pure PET used in Coretek meets museum requirements and can be identified by its unique properties. For example, it has a higher melt point than PVC or other polyester products with coatings or additives, such as PETg. Unlike products with PVC or PET with additives, such as PETg, pure PET that meets the highest museum standards must be RF ( ultrasonically ) sealed, and will not take a heat seal.
