Description

This beautiful, Guardhouse wood coin display box has a rich mahogany finish and decorative wood trim features. The inside lid is draped with a white cloth fabric and features a ribbon to hold a certificate or document, while the base features a dark blue foam framed with a contrasting white collar. The coin slots, or openings in this box hold three XTRA LARGE sized coin capsules. Designed to hold Ring Fit coin capsules, 33 mm thru 42 mm and/or 2'' challenge coins w/ out coin capsules. Coin slots measure: 2'' ( 50.8 mm ). Capsules are sold separately: Guardhouse - or - Air-tite.

What size capsule fits these openings? 33mm thru 42mm (not much help) what is the exact size? 50mm?

For Air-tite capsules that are ring fit (33mm thru 42mm) (Model I) usually have an outside diameter that perfectly fits in the opening. That can fit and coin with a diameter for 33m to 42 mm. A 2 inch challenge coin can fit in the slot raw (the coin without capsule).
