Dansco National Park Quarters Date Set Coin Album

Dansco single mint date set coin album for National Park Quarters also known as the US Mint America the Beautiful quarters. In December 2008 Congress enacted the Americas Beautiful National Parks Quarter Dollar Coin Act of 2008. This program will allow the US Mint to issue quarters emblematic of Americas national parks for each of the fifty states, the District of Columbia and United States Territories. At its completion the America the Beautiful National Parks quarter program will have minted 56 different quarters.

The Dansco Nation Park Quarters Date Set coin album will hold one example for each of the 56 national park quarters minted between 2010 and 2021. The inside cover this coin album provides a five paragraph overview of the national parks quarters program. The inside back cover lists and describes three of the United States national park services US Forest Service, National Park Service and US Fish and Wildlife Service. There are a total of eight interior pages. Four pages hold 16 quarters each for a total of 64 quarter openings each labeled with the national park represented by the quarter and the year of issue (the last eight slots are blank). Four pages are printed also printed with a paragraph description of each national park honored by a US Mint America the Beautiful quarter (printed pages do not hold quarters).

Dansco National Park quarter albums are handsomely bound with a gold foil embossed cover and spine. All pages are held in place with a removable screw/post system so that individual pages can be replaced if they become damaged. Dansco coin album pages use acetate sheets on each of the page to hold coins in place so that both sides can be viewed while the coins themselves are thoroughly protected. This Dansco National Park date set coin album can be used with a 3/4 slipcase.

What is a Dansco Coin Album?

Dansco coin albums are the most popular coin album that we sell and are available for practically any collection that you can conceive including foreign coins. Dansco coin albums are made with interchangeable parts that allow your collections to grow and make it easy for you to replace pages if needed.

With or Without Proofs?

For most Dansco coin albums you can determine whether it contains proof coins by the model number

Model Numbers Starting with 7xxx (7100, 7140, etc) do not include proof coins
Model Numbers Starting with 8xxx (8100, 8140, etc) do include proof coins
Proof and Non-Proof model numbers usually mimic each other - 7100 & 8100 are the same albums, one without proofs the other with proofs, respectively

Dansco Album Components

The Binder – Simulated leather embossed and beautifully foil stamped. The inside covers of most albums contain a historical overview of the collection and mintage figures for each production hear. The center column is permanently riveted to the exterior binder and holds the pages in place by way of two metal post screws/nuts, which make page replacement easy for anyone.

Blank binders are also available for separate purchase so that you can create your own collection.

The Pages – Loose-leaf hinged pages that are plastic coated and washable. Each page has coin ports that hold coins between acetate slides that both protect and display both sides of your collection. Most pages are imprinted with identifying information including mint mark (when applicable) and mint years. Adding coins to your Dansco coin album is as simple as pushing the top slide to the right edge of the page, inserting your coin and sliding the acetate sheet back in place. Dansco coin album pages are available for purchases separately so that you can keep your album up to date as new coins are minted.

In addition to album replacement pages, Dansco also manufactures "Extra" Pages, "Millimeter" Pages and Vinyl Pages. Extra pages contain only a header label are perfect for keeping extra coins when your primary collection is full. For example, if you already have a 1958 Lincoln Cent in your primary collection but still have another 10 to protect you can keep them in an extra page. Millimeter pages are excellent for foreign coins. If you have a collection of 36 millimeter coins, which are too large for a half-dollar and too small for a silver dollar you can keep them in a 36mm album page. Vinyl pages are available in several configurations and are sized to fit within Dansco coin album binders. Vinyl pages can be used to hold coins in flips and currency notes.

Matching Slipcases – Dansco manufactures matching archival quality slipcases with Silver-Guard Corrosion-Inhibiting protection in six sizes to match all of its albums. Silver-Guard is a military specification material that permanently neutralizes corrosive gases in the air that can cause toning and discoloring and works with silver, gold, copper, nickel coins and medals, medallions, bars and ferrous metals. Silver-Guard will not remove existing toning but by keeping air flow to a minimum Dansco quality slipcases will offer maximized protection for your coin collection.
